Medical passed and contract signed as Chelsea confirm that another transfer deal is done and dusted

By

Chelsea have announced that centre-back Michael Hector has left the club to join Hull City on a season-long loan.

The 25-year-old enjoyed loan spells at Reading and Eintracht Frankfurt in recent seasons.

He is renowned for having spent most of his career on loan with Bracknell Town, Didcot Town, Havant & Waterlooville, Oxford City, Horsham, Dundalk, Barney and Shrewsbury Town amongst the teams in which he featured.

After completing the switch, the Jamaica international told Hull City's official website: "When I found out that Hull were interested in taking me on loan, it was an easy decision to make.

"It's a great challenge for me to come back to England after a season in Germany and try to help this Club get back into the Premier League.

"The players here seem like a great bunch and hopefully I can play my part in helping them - and the Club - enjoy a successful season in 2017/18."
