Photo Confirmation: Chelsea agree four-year deal for winger with "great potential", player poses with new club's shirt

Chelsea have confirmed on their official website that winger Izzy Brown has left the club to join Brighton and Hove Albion on loan.

The youngster signed a new contract with the Blues before joining Chris Hughton's side.

The Seagulls boss described the 20-year-old as a player with great potential after the transfer was complete.

"The natural progression for Izzy, having enjoyed such a successful season in the Championship last season, was to step up to the Premier League - and we are delighted he will be doing that with us, here at Brighton," he said.

"He is a player with great potential and will bring a different dimension to our attacking options for the season ahead, alongside our existing strikers."

The player was all smiles as he posed with his new jersey in a photo session for Brighton and Hove Albion's official website.
