"I have great respect for him" - Antonio Conte drops massive hint this player could be his fifth summer signing

By

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte says he is full of respect for Internazionale winger Antonio Candreva.

Recent reports have claimed that the Italy international will become Conte's fifth summer signing.

His agent confirmed last week that the player could end up at Stamford Bridge.

"It's not correct to speak about the player of the other team," Conte told reporters.

"I know that this period is in the period of the transfer market.

"Candreva is Inter's player and I have great respect for him, for his team and also for my players."

The Blues completed another major signing last week after Alvaro Morata joined the club to take over from Diego Costa in the offensive department.

But Conte wants to add at least one more player before the end of the summer transfer window.
