"His representative has opened negotiations" - Chelsea to announce new deal in the next 48 hours

By

Juventus are in talks to sign Chelsea star Nemanja Matic, according to Express Sport.

The Serbian was not been included in manager Antonio Conte's squad for their pre-season tour of China.

Matic has made 154 appearances at Stamford Bridge but is now a target for former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri.

Internazionale and Arsenal have also made contact to understand how much the Blues want for the midfielder.

At the moment, the Bianconeri are in pole position to secure the services of the 28-year-old.

Chelsea have no intention of selling him to a Premier League rival so this leaves only Serie A clubs fighting to sign him.
