Photo Confirmation: Chelsea agree deal for highly rated midfielder, player poses with new club's shirt

Chelsea have announced that midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah has left the club to join Watford on a permanent transfer.

The England Under-21 international signed a five-year contract with the Hornets.

A Chelsea Academy product, the 22-year-old joined for an undisclosed fee.

Watford's official website has already published a photo of the youngster with his new jersey.

"I think since my first time here, I tried to go forward and improve within myself," he told watfordfc.com.

"I've had some good loans, some bad loans. Last year for me was a year I'll never forget, in terms of winning the league, but also with a manager who gave me an opportunity.

"But that's in the past now isn't it really? In football, people only remember the last thing you did. I want to focus on what's now, here at Watford."
