"I'm very excited to be here" - Medical passed and contract signed as Chelsea announce transfer of "highly rated player"

By

Chelsea have announced on their official website that Ola Aina has left the club to join Hull City on a season-long loan deal.

Described as a "highly rated defender" by the club, the youngster won three FA Youth Cups and two UEFA Youth Leagues with the Blues.

He has already joined up with the rest of the Hull City squad to fly to Portugal for a pre-season training camp.

"I'm very excited to be here and it is the start of a new chapter in my career," he told the Tigers official website.

"It's my first loan move away from Chelsea and I just want to hit the ground running. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of my new team-mates during the training camp in Portugal."
