Chelsea announce summer transfer, player delighted after signing contract: "This is the right place for me

Chelsea have announced on their official website that Josimar Quintero will spend the 2017/18 season on loan in Russia with FC Rostov.

The 20-year-old was part of Chelsea's Under-19 squad that won the 2015-16 UEFA Youth League.

He says fellow countryman Christian Noboa convinced him to make the move to Russia.

"I am very happy, this is a complete new experience for me," he told Rostov's official website.

"I will finally play at a serious level, I spoke with [Zenit St. Petersburg's] Christian Noboa and he told me that Rostov is the right place for my development.

"I will work hard to secure a regular place in the team, that's why I'm here, to play."
