Announcement imminent: £34million star has taken Chelsea medical and will be Conte's second summer signing

By

Antonio Rudiger has undergone a medical in Los Angeles ahead of his €39 million [£34.2m] move to Chelsea, according to Metro.

The article claims that the Germany international underwent his medical in a Chelsea-approved facility in the United States.

The Blues have already reached an agreement with Roma.

And they agreed personal terms with the player who will become Antonio Conte's second summer signing.

The Italian is desperate to strengthen his squad ahead of next season's Premier League and Champions League.

He wanted to sign Everton's Romelu Lukaku but the BBC has reported this morning that the Belgium international will join Manchester United.
