Breaking: Chelsea ready to meet Real Madrid's asking price for £25.5million defender

Chelsea are ready to intensify their chase to sign Real Madrid right-back Danilo.

The Brazilian is expected to leave the Spanish giants during the summer transfer window.

The Spaniards want at least £26million to sell the player with Serie A champions Juventus also interested.

The Bianconeri have already made an approach to sign the 25-year-old but made it clear that they are not ready to pay that much.

The player is determined to leave the club after falling further down the pecking order of manager Zinedine Zidane.

Marca has claimed that manager Antonio Conte has identified the Brazilian as a target for the summer but at the moment Juventus are in pole position to sign him.
