Chelsea set to open talks with Premier League rivals to complete defender transfer

By

Watford are interested in Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah, Sky Sports News HQ has reported on Saturday morning.

The youngster will meet manager Antonio Conte to understand whether he has a future at Stamford Bridge.

According to other reports, he wants to leave and the Blues will not block his transfer.

Earlier this year, he admitted that securing a regular place in the Italian's squad will not be easy.

"We won the league and I have got competition ahead of me," he told the Telegraph.

"Kante, Fabregas and Matic and we're talking European Cup winners, World Cup winners and full internationals and these are players that you can learn from every single day in terms of what they do on the pitch and the way they are off the pitch."
