Manager Antonio Conte "furious" after club ignored his request to sign £88million striker

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is furious after the club made no approach to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

Metro has claimed that the Italian is not happy with how things have gone so far this summer.

The Blues are yet to sign any new players with 23-year-old Belotti a target according to reports in Italy.

But Torino president Urbano Cairo has in fact declared that no club has made an approach to sign the player.

"We have a contract until 2021, so if he should remain, it would not be a 'gift' but with us a long relationship," Cairo told Sky Sport Italy.

"It is clear that it is important for him to remain happy, as I hope he will stay with us, we will talk about it soon.

"Other teams, I have not had any contact with anyone, not with PSG nor with Manchester United, nor with Milan."
