Alex Sandro to Chelsea: Italian journalist gives update and it's bad news for Blues fans

By

Juventus defender Alex Sandro has not asked Juventus to sell him according to Tutto Mercato Web.

Transfer market expert Niccolo Ceccarini has claimed that the player has never made it clear that he wants to leave the club to move to Stamford Bridge.

Recent reports have claimed that he will soon be a Chelsea player.

But Ceccarini says the Blues have to pay more than £40million if they want to secure the services of the player.

"As for Alex Sandro, the maximum bid which Chelsea can reach is €45m [£40million], so we are very far from the figures that have been written about in recent days.

"And under these conditions, Juventus does not even sit down [for talks].

"About the will of the player - Alex Sandro has never said: 'I want to go to Chelsea'.

"Maybe you've heard the Premier League is a championship which pulls on his heartstrings, but there has never been any official request made by the Brazilian."
