Revealed: The total number of players Antonio Conte wants to sign this summer

By

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will sign no less than eight players during the summer transfer window.

According to the Daily Star, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alex Sandro will be the club's first signings and will be announced this week.

But it seems the Italian wants another central midfielder, a powerful centre-back, a right-back, a winger and two strikers.

It is clear that Chelsea have to strengthen the offensive department after the announced departure of Diego Costa.

Everton's Romelu Lukaku and Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata have both been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Same goes for the defence after John Terry left the club at the end of last season.

And with Nemanja Matic leaving to join Manchester United, more players are needed in midfield to be competitive in the Premier League and the Champions League.
