"He will be in London for a medical this week" - BBC confirms Chelsea will complete their first summer signing

By

Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko will sign for Chelsea before the end of the week, the BBC has claimed this morning.

With Nemanja Matic set to leave the club to join Manchester United, it will be the 22-year-old to replace him in Antonio Conte's midfielder.

The Blues will pay a reported fee of £36.7million to secure the services of the Monaco man.

He was one of the key players in Monaco's impressive run in last season's Champions League.

The player will be in London for a medical later on this week according to Metro and will become the club's first summer signing.

More players will surely followed as the Blues want to be Premier League and Champions League contenders next season.
