Done deal: Highly regarded teenager pictured with club scarf as Chelsea announce transfer deal is complete

By

Chelsea academy goalkeeper Nathan Baxter has joined Woking on loan, the club has announced on their official website.

The youngster - who is seen on Woking's website with the club's scarf - will join on July 1 and will spend next season on loan with the Cardinals.

"I'm here for a full season, I think it's important when you come to a club that you fully commit to it," the 18-year-old said.

"I want to show people that I can put together a full season of consistent National League performances. It's a really exciting club to be at and I hope we can finish as high as possible."

Manager Anthony Limbrick added: "Nathan is a highly regarded goalkeeper who impressed me on loan at Solihull in the second half of last season.

"After speaking to Chelsea, they agreed to send him to us over other options he had. I'm delighted to have Nathan here for the season and great to have a relationship with a football club like Chelsea."
