Done Deal: Chelsea complete first summer deal after player and club reach agreement

By

The BBC has confirmed that Chelsea and Swansea City have reached an agreement for the transfer of striker Tammy Abraham.

The youngster will spend next season on loan in Wales.

Newcastle United and Brighton were also interested in the 19-year-old who scored 23 goals in 40 appearances on loan at Championship side Bristol City last season.

On Tuesday, chairman Huw Jenkins went public with his intention to sign the Englishman.

"Tammy does not have Premier League experience, but we are interested," Jenkins told BBC Wales.

"Paul knows him from Chelsea. If you look at the options which have been publicised, [they are] Brighton, Newcastle and ourselves.

"So it is left to Tammy and his family to decide where he wants to go next."
