"Antonio Conte is a great coach" - Champions are pushing to sign £35million attacking midfielder

By

Italian champions Juventus are pushing to sign Fiorentina attacking midfielder Federico Bernardeschi, Football Italia has claimed.

The 23-year-old has refused to sign a new contract with the Viola as a clear indication that he might leave the club in the summer.

Chelsea are interested in the player with recent reports claiming that he is a main target for manager Antonio Conte.

And last week, Bernardeschi was full of praise for the Blues boss.

"I think there are some ideas that are similar, some that are different," he said when asked about how it is working under Antonio Conte first and Giampiero Ventura then.

"Conte and Ventura are great coaches, but they explain their ideas and want different movements from us on the field.

"A player has to adapt to what his Coach wants.

"These tacticians are at the highest level and have been doing this for many years."
