Five-year deal agreed: Chelsea's £35million target undergoes medical and signs contract

By

Bayern Munich have completed the transfer of Corentin Tolisso for a reported fee of £35million.

The Chelsea target arrived in Germany this morning to undergo a medical and has signed the contract that officially makes him a Bayern Munich player.

Arsenal were also interested in the 22-year-old with initial talks having been held with the Ligue 1 club about his availability.

At the end of last year, the youngster was full of praise for Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal, admitting that the Premier League was his preferred destination.

"Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal," he said in October.

"I like the Premier League and I think I am well suited to it.

"It is the league that offers the most competition, it is the most open, the most hard-fought and the most spectacular."

He signed a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions.
