"He is open to a move to the Premier League" - Chelsea edging closer to sensational £48million deal

By

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci is "open to a move to the Premier League" according to talkSPORT.

The Italy international is available for £48million and recent reports have claimed that he is ready to leave Juventus to embark on a new experience abroad.

Chelsea and Manchester City are both interested but the player would prefer a move to Stamford Bridge having already worked with manager Antonio Conte.

The Blues need to strengthen their defensive department after the departure of club legend John Terry especially now that they will feature in next season's Champions League.

The 30-year-old was already a target for Conte during last summer's transfer window but he was convinced by the Turin club to stay for one more season.
