Chelsea have already made contact with French giants to seal transfer of powerhouse defender

By

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma will be loaned out during the summer transfer window according to the Sun.

According to the article, the Blues have already made contact with Olympique de Marseille to understand if they are eager to add the 22-year-old to their squad next season.

Internazionale and Valencia are also keen on the centre-back according to recent reports in Italy.

The Frenchman struggled to enjoy regular first-team football at Stamford Bridge especially after suffering a serious knee injury last year.

David Luiz and Gary Cahill have been the two regular centre-backs for Antonio Conte this season and it seems that Zouma will again struggle to find a place in the Italian's squad if he stays at the club.

Besides, Chelsea are determined to sign Southampton's Virgil van Dijk to strengthen their defensive department ahead of next season.
