Chelsea have opened talks to sign £50million star but his dream is to play for Arsenal

By

Chelsea have opened talks to sign Lyon central midfielder Corentin Tolisso, the Sun has revealed.

Club president Jean-Michel Aulas was in London and met with Chelsea representatives who are reported to be keen on the 22-year-old.

The player has previously admitted that he has a list of dream clubs with Arsenal his perfect destination if he is to ever feature in the English Premier League.

But Arsenal's failure to reach next season's Champions League has pushed the player into looking at other teams.

"Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal," he said.

“I like the Premier League and I think I am well suited to it.

“It is the league that offers the most competition, it is the most open, the most hard-fought and the most spectacular.”
