Chelsea target fails medical ahead of £25million summer transfer move

By

Chelsea target Franck Kessie has failed his medical at Milan and "further examination will be needed" according to Calciomercato.com.

The midfielder will undergo a second medical test later on today as he looks to complete his £25million move from Atalanta.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the winter but he is expected to continue in the Italian Serie A.

"I am very flattered that clubs of this level are interested in me," he said at the start of the year.

"This proves that I’m having a good season, that I continue to progress. I don’t want to go too fast.

"I like the Premier League and in particular Manchester United, the club I dream of playing for.

"Chelsea? That is also a big club, nobody would turn them down, but I dream of [Manchester] United."
