Chelsea open talks to sign £43million Manchester United target: Antonio Conte's first summer signing?

By

Chelsea have opened talks to sign Monaco defensive midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, Calciomercato.it has reported.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 22-year-old.

According to the article, the Blues have offered more than £40million to secure the services of the youngster.

Earlier this week, the Frenchman ruled out a move to Monaco's rivals Paris Saint-Germain:

"I can't leave Monaco to go to PSG," he said.

"It's impossible, because I've just finished champion ahead of Paris. I can't leave for a club that has finished behind me.

"PSG is a club I carry in my heart because I'm a Parisian and I was a supporter of PSG, like my family. They initiated me."
