Chelsea identify potential successor if Antonio Conte leaves - he is perfect for the Blues

By

If Chelsea manager Antonio Conte decides to leave the club prematurely, the Blues will make an approach to sign Massimiliano Allegri, Calciomercato.it revealed.

The Juventus manager is currently focused on the Champions League final after already winning the Italian Cup and the Serie A.

He is expected to meet with the Turin club after the final in Cardiff with recent reports claiming that he will leave to embark on a new challenge in England.

Arsenal have also been linked with the 49-year-old but Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich would be ready to offer a rich contract to the Italian if Conte decides to leave.

If the rumour ends up being true it would be going from one Italian manager to another and from one former Juventus manager to another for Chelsea who won the English Premier League in Conte's first year in charge.
