Deadline day deal: Chelsea announce agreement has been reached for transfer of striker

By

Chelsea have confirmed that striker Lucas Piazon will spend the next five months on loan at Fulham in the Championship.

The youngster enjoyed loan spells at Malaga, Vitesse, Eintracht Frankfurt, Reading in recent seasons.

In August, the striker made it clear that his objective this season is to enjoy regular first-team football.

"I always want to play and be in the starting XI and if I can do that score some goals and create some chances I will be happy with that," Piazon told ESPN FC.

"I have two years left on my contract, but I am not thinking about my future at the minute.

"I want to go and do well for myself on loan and after that I will have one year left at Chelsea so it is very important for me to do a good job this season."
