Chelsea have opened talks with Spanish giants to complete transfer of £60million superstar

By

Chelsea are in talks to sign Real Madrid striker James Rodriguez, Sport-English.com has revealed.

According to the article, the Blues are ready to offer £60million to secure the services of the Colombia international.

Rodriguez started yesterday's game away at Real Sociedad on the bench but came on in the 77th minute of the game.

Manager Zinedine Zidane insists that the 25-year-old is happy at the Santiago Bernabeu but a number of reports have claimed that he wants to leave to enjoy regular first-team football in the English Premier League.

"He is well and happy," Zidane said after his side's 3-0 win.

"He worked and helped us to gain the three points."

The Merengues were already 2-0 up at the Anoeta Stadium when Rodriguez came on.
