Announcement expected tomorrow: Chelsea have reached an agreement over transfer of striker

By

Chelsea striker Bertrand Traore has joined Ajax on a season-long loan, the Daily Mail has confirmed.

The 20-year-old moves to Amsterdam to fill the void left by Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik who left the club to join Serie A giants Napoli.

The Blues are expected to officially announce the transfer later on today or tomorrow morning.

He would have struggled to secure a regular first-team place in Antonio Conte's squad especially after the arrival of Michy Batshuayi from Olympique de Marseille.

The Burkinabé has only played ten games for Chelsea and has already enjoyed a loan spell away from the club when he joined Vitesse Arnhem two seasons ago.

He will work under coach Peter Bosz with whom he played at Vitesse where he scored 16 goals in 14 Dutch league appearances.
