Has Chelsea dropped the biggest hint yet that star player will not leave this summer?

By

Chelsea have unveiled their third kit for the season and striker Diego Costa was featured in the commercial presentation on the club's official website.

Recent reports have claimed that the Spaniard is desperate to leave the club to make a return to Atletico Madrid.

But today's announcement is yet another sign that the Blues have no intention of selling one of the best strikers in the game.

Earlier this month, manager Antonio Conte revealed that he had a private chat with the striker, making it clear that the 27-year-old will play an important role for Chelsea this season.

"Diego Costa is our player, he is a Chelsea player," Conte said on Tuesday.

"I spoke with him; he is a very important player. For me he is one of the best in the world. He can score a lot of goals for us.

"He needs to play for a club that is one of the best like Chelsea. Diego Costa is our player; he's a fantastic player with fundamental importance. He's very happy and is working hard.

"I am sure when he goes into our ideas he will score a lot of goals for us."
