Chelsea boss Antonio Conte "in regular contact" to make this striker his third summer signing

By

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been in regular contact with Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata about a move this summer, talkSPORT has confirmed.

The Italian is still chasing the Spain international even if the Spanish giants confirmed at the start of the month that he is not for sale.

The 46-year-old added Michy Batshuayi to his squad and has on Tuesday confirmed that Diego Costa will not be sold.

But he is still looking to add one of Europe's most impressive strikers as a clear sign that the Blues want to fight for the Premier League title this season.

Chelsea's pre-season campaign started with a 2-0 defeat against Austria's Rapid Vienna.

They will face RZ Pellets on Wednesday before facing Liverpool and Real Madrid next week.
