Done Deal: Chelsea beat Barcelona and Juventus to signature of impressive youngster

By

Chelsea have beaten Barcelona and Juventus in the race to sign Brazilian striker Gabriel Barbosa, Calciomercato.it has revealed.

Recent reports have claimed that the Blues offered £25million to sign the 19-year-old.

On Sunday, he fueled speculation over his future after his side's victory over Ponte Preta on Saturday.

"I played as if it was my last game here," he said.

"Soon you will know something."

He later on wrote on social media: "My heart is in Alvinegro and it will always beat for you. Santos are my life. I will love you until death."

Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund were also linked with a possible move for the Brazil international with agent Wagner Ribeiro revealing in may that the player wanted to continue at Santos amid rumours that the French giants were ready to make a move to sign him.
