Chelsea boss Antonio Conte speaks out about Juan Cuadrado's future at Stamford Bridge

By

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado will not be sold during the summer transfer window, manager Antonio Conte has confirmed.

The Colombia international is a target for Conte's former club Juventus having spent last season on loan in Turin.

But the 46-year-old wants the 28-year-old to be part of his squad this season as he rubbished rumours linking the player with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

"Juan Cuadrado is a Chelsea player," Conte declared.

"He will come back very soon. He's in our squad, I'm very happy to have him and train him.

"I wanted him when I was a coach at Juventus and he will come back very soon and train and play with us. Now, he's a Chelsea player and he'll stay with us. If something changes you'll know."
