Chelsea boss Antonio Conte ready to seal extraordinary signing of Manchester United target

Chelsea are set to reignite their interest in Sporting midfielder Joao Mario and are preparing an offer, O Jogo has revealed.

Manager Antonio Conte has followed the progress of the 23-year-old at the 2016 Euro Championship and is now determined to secure his services.

Manchester United are reported to also be interested.

According to the news outlet, the Blues will offer £33million to bring the player to Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder is also a target for Internazionale in the Serie A with recent reports in Italy claiming that the Nerazzurri are ready to offer £40million to sign the Portugal international.

Joao Mario is said to have a release clause of around £46million in his Sporting Lisbon contract.
