Manager confirms Chelsea target will leave the club during summer transfer window

By

Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi has confirmed that Chelsea and Napoli target Antonio Candreva will leave the club during the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old joined Lazio during the 2012 winter transfer window and enjoyed five very positive years in Rome.

Napoli are currently in pole position to secure his services but he continues to be a main target for Blues boss Antonio Conte.

"As for [Antonio] Candreva, the club's director explained that he wants to leave," Inzaghi told reporters.

"With me he played seven very good games [last season] but the market has rules.

"Candreva and [Marco] Parolo have done exceptionally well at the European Championship, I'm proud of both."
