Done Deal: Two Chelsea players agree contract extension with the club

By

Goalkeeper Bradley Collins and striker Alex Kiwomya have extended their contract at Chelsea.

19-year-old Collins has agreed a deal until the end of the 2017/18 season.

20-year-old Kiwomya committed himself to the club for another year.

Kiwomya was loaned out to Fleetwood during last January's transfer window with manager Steven Pressley full of praise for the youngster.

"We are going into a really busy schedule of games and we are a bit short in terms of numbers in certain positions," Pressley said in January.

"He is a player with high potential and he fits the type of profile that we are looking for. We have to bring players in that are different to what we already have and he is certainly different.

"He gives us a different dimension to our game. It is good that Alex has had experience in League 1 so he understands the environment he is coming into. We are delighted to have him on board."
