Antonio Conte fires strong warning to Chelsea stars: Mistakes will not be tolerated

By

Italy midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini has warned Chelsea players that Antonio Conte will not tolerate any mistakes at Stamford Bridge.

The 31-year-old missed an easy chance in the 22nd minute of Italy's friendly game against Scotland in Malta.

But he made no mistake on Monday to give Italy the lead after taking full advantage of Leonardo Bonucci's perfect assist in the first half.

And he revealed that his manager was not happy at all after his missed chance against the Scots.

"Conte told me that he would have sent me home on foot had I missed another clear-cut chance as I did against Scotland," the Sunderland man said.

"I listened to what he said and I did well [yesterday] to score [Italy's first goal]."
