Italian TV channel SportItalia has revealed that Emanuel Mammana will be a Chelsea player next season.
The player's agents were in London last week to reach an agreement with the Blues.
Serie A sides Napoli and Fiorentina were interested in the youngster during last January's transfer market window but he opted to stay at River Plate.
When asked about his future the 20-year-old said: "I am only focused on River Plate at the moment.
"Of course I’d love to play abroad but the only thing I am thinking about right now is playing for River."
