Chelsea are reported to have agreed deal to sign £65million striker

Chelsea are confident they will re-sign Romelu Lukaku this summer after the Everton striker made a return to Stamford Bridge his first-choice destination, the Evening Standard has revealed.

At the end of last week, the Belgium international confirmed that he will leave Everton and that a return to Stamford Bridge could be on the cards.

"There are a number of clubs that have shown an interest in signing me," Lukaku HLN.

"I have already made a decision for myself, but I will keep it to myself at this stage.

"Will I return to Chelsea? We'll see.

"There is no denying that the English league is perfect for me, but there are nice clubs elsewhere, too."

The Belgium international is expected to reveal his new team immediately after this summer's Euro 2016.
