CONFIRMED: Chelsea open talks with Premier League club to sign £100million pair

By

Chelsea have reportedly opened talks over a double transfer raid for Everton stars Romelu Lukaku and John Stones, Metro reports.

The 21-year-old Englishman was already a target for the Blues last season but opted to stay at Goodison Park after meeting with then-manager Roberto Martinez.

But with the Spaniard leaving the club, a new attempt will be made by Chelsea.

The Belgian struggled to impose himself at Stamford Bridge after joining from Anderlecht but could make a surprise return during this summer's transfer window.

Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain and Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata are the other two strikers manager Antonio Conte is monitoring ahead of the new season.
