Chelsea to challenge Arsenal and Paris-Saint Germain for 22-year-old Ligue 1 ace

By

Chelsea could be in the running to sign AS Monaco left-back Layvin Kurzawa this summer, despite just bringing in Abdul Baba Rahman, Metro has revealed.

According to the article, regular left-back Cesar Azpilicueta could be deployed as right-back by boss Jose Mourinho after Branislav Ivanovic struggled in Chelsea's first three official games of the season.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the 22-year-old talented defender who has a market transfer value of £15m according to his club.

L’Equipe and Le Parisien have in fact reported on Thursday morning that a £12.9m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for the player has been turned down.
