Chelsea enter race to sign £66m Arsenal and Manchester United target

By

Gonzalo Higuain has reportedly put Chelsea on alert by claiming he wants to leave Napoli, Express Sport has reported.

The striker's situation at Napoli is very clear.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis has reiterated that the 27-year-old is a key element for Napoli but if a club is ready to meet his £66m buy-out clause then he will open talks to sell the player.

At the start of the month, the Argentine has refused to sign a new contract with Nicolas Higuain, agent and brother of the striker, confirming that De Laurentiis' offer was not what they were hoping for.

Higuain is also a target for Arsenal and Manchester United.
