Chelsea in £15m bid for Tottenham Hotspur left-back

Chelsea are said to be willing to pay out £15m to land Tottenham defender Danny Rose, the Telegraph has revealed.

According to reports, the Blues have identified three left-backs to take over from Filipe Luis: Baba Rahman, Alex Telles and Danny Rose.

The Augsburg man is strong favourite to make a move to Stamford Bridge after his agent confirmed that the player has agreed personal terms with the club.

Telles, 22, is also a confirmed target after agent Fernando Otto confirmed that at least five clubs are interested in the player.

But the Blues want to keep Danny Rose as a backup plan if the other two players fail to make a move to Stamford Bridge.
