Jose Mourinho: Injury update on Diego Costa and Gary Cahill ahead of Arsenal clash

By

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says Diego Costa and Gary Cahill will be fit to face Arsenal tomorrow in the FA Community Shield.

The striker limped out of the 2-2 draw with Barcelona last Wednesday with a hamstring problem but has recovered in time to face the Gunners.

The defender also needed treatment after suffering a nose injury but will also be in the starting line-up to face Arsene Wenger's men.

"All good [on the injury front]," Mourinho told reporters on Friday.

"We are fine. Jet lag is minimal, the travelling was very short, it was a very good pre-season in terms of travelling. We are in London since Wednesday morning, no problem.

"[We have] three top strikers. If one is injured, we have two. No concerns, no protections. It's a position where we're very strong. I'm not worried, match after match, and we have a fantastic group of strikers so no problem."
