Chelsea inching closer to stunning £50m triple swoop

By

Chelsea are closing in on a £50 million triple swoop for Jose Callejon, John Stones and Baba Rahman, the Telegraph has reported.

A bid for the Everton defender was confirmed by boss Jose Mourinho last week.

And Baba Rahman, 21, has been identified as a perfect transfer to replace Filipe Luis who left to make a return to Atletico Madrid.

Napoli's Jose Callejon is also a target for Chelsea but recent reports from Italy claim that the Spaniard wants to stay even if he will not feature in next season's Champions League.

If the Blues convince the Partenopei to sell, the 28-year-old would be available for £16m.

Stones is available for £26m and the Augsburg's left-back is available on the market for £8m.
