Jose Mourinho: Why I don't want this midfielder to go out on loan

By

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek will not be loaned out this summer.

The Portuguese cannot guarantee the 19-year-old a regular place in his starting line-up but still wants him to stay in order to improve his game.

"He is one I am not interested in letting go on loan," Mourinho is quoted as saying by Express Sport.

"I want to keep him because he needs to improve a lot.

"And I think the best way for him to improve is to be working with us every day, even if he doesn't play much.

"In this moment he is far from being in conditions to play for us."
