Jose Mourinho opts against loaning out striker for another season

By

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants striker Victor Moses to stay at the club, Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has revealed.

The Nigerian spent last season on loan at the Britannia with Stoke City interested in extending his loan spell for at least one more season.

But Hughes says Chelsea want the 24-year-old to return to the club ahead of the start of next season.

"I think Chelsea have taken a view that they would like to keep him," Hughes told Sky Sports News HQ.

"Of course, they may go into the market again and that might change that idea that they have.

"He did really well for us last year despite some injuries but it looks like Victor could play a part for Chelsea this year."
