Jose Mourinho ready to hijack Arsenal's move for Barcelona striker

By

Chelsea are preparing a shock offer to sign Barcelona star Pedro, the Daily Star has revealed.

The 27-year-old striker is a target for a number of top European clubs and admits he has a difficult decision to make ahead of next season.

Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar are all ahead of him in the pecking order although coach Luis Enrique wants the player so stay.

According to reports, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has identified the Spaniard as the one to replace Raheem Sterling on the wing after the Englishman made it clear that he does not want to go on the club's pre-season tour.

But the Reds are expected to face competition from Chelsea and Arsenal.
