Chelsea midfielder to end his 9-year Stamford Bridge stay

Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel is ready to end his nine-year love affair with the club by joining Fenerbahce, the Daily Star has reported.

Internazionale, Valencia and Al Ain are also interested in the Nigeria international who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2006 from Lyn Oslo.

Ersin Duzen, a presenter of Turkish football programme Futbol Gunlugu, has claimed that the 28-year-old has held talks with Fenerbahce sporting director Giuliano Terrane in London over a possible move.

Fenerbahce have just added Manchester United midfielder Nani to their squad with reports claiming that striker Robin van Persie will be the next player to join.
