Chilean star to snub Arsenal and Olympique de Marseille to join Chelsea

By

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Internacional midfielder Charles Aranguiz, according to Metro.

The Chilean was one of the most impressive players in this summer's Copa America and has attracted the interest of a number of clubs including Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen and Olympique de Marseille.

But according to reports, he will leave Internacional to move to Stamford Bridge.

In March, the 26-year-old was full of praise for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, describing a potential move to the Emirates as a "dream".

"I don't know anything about it [interest from Arsenal]," he said in March.

"I've heard about it through the press but nobody has talked to me.

"They're a great team, and it would be a dream, but for now that's all it is... a dream."
