Barcelona confirm interest in Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United target

By

Barcelona presidential candidate Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed that Atletico Madrid winger Arda Turan is one of his targets ahead of this month's election.

The 28-year-old will almost surely leave Atletico during the summer transfer window with a number of top European clubs all ready to make a move.

Reports claim that the Turkey international would prefer to stay in the Spanish Liga, making Barcelona strong favourites to sign him in the summer.

"He's a very good player," Bartomeu told Esport3.

"He has real quality and perfectly marries what Luis Enrique wants for next season.

"As such, as a candidate, I encourage the board to sign the player.

"In this way, next season, we'll have a team that will be very competitive and primed to win all possible titles."
