Agent confirms Chelsea are interested in signing strong centre-back

By

Antonio Rudiger's agent Sahr Senesie has confirmed that Chelsea and Wolfsburg are ready to make a move for the player.

Rumours that the Blues were ready to make a move for the 22-year-old emerged last month when Bild reported that the player is desperate to leave the German side to join Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.

But although Senesie confirmed that the Blues are interested in the strong defender, he says that the player's desire is to continue in the German Bundesliga.

"I know there’s interest from Chelsea and Wolfsburg," Senesie told Kicker.

"[But] Antonio would love to stay in Germany."
